TeleContinuity, Inc. Receives Type II Telecommunications Carrier License from Japanese Government
Tokyo, Japan – March 18, 2008 TeleContinuity, Inc. announced today that it has been granted a Type II Carrier License from the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Effective as of February 28, 2008, the license will enable TeleContinuity to provide its survivable telecommunications network to commercial, residential and government organizations throughout Japan.
“The licensing of TeleContinuity’s backup telecom system by the Ministry shows that telecommunications continuity is of critical importance for the nation of Japan, said Taka Ito, Managing Director of TeleContinuity’s Asia Pacific and Middle East Operations. “With the launch in Q1, 2008 of TeleContinuity’s Japanese Service, we are seeing unprecedented demand for survivable backup telecommunication services throughout Japan and the Pacific Rim. TeleContinuity, recently participated at the ITPRO Expo 2008 at Tokyo BigSight in conjunction with its in-country strategic partner ECOSS. Additionally, Michael Rosenberg, Executive Vice President of TeleContinuity, was invited to speak on the subject of “maintaining telecommunications continuity during emergencies and disasters,” at the 12th Annual Earthquake Technology Exhibition in Yokohama, Japan.
TeleContinuity Announces Localized Language Version of its Services for Japan
Tokyo, Japan –March 18, 2008 – TeleContinuity, Inc., in conjunction with its local strategic distributor, ECOSS, Inc., announced today that the Company has released a localized version of the TeleContinuity Service that will allow users to interact with a Japanese language version of the TeleContinuity Platform. The user web interface, administration interface, activation auto attendant, as well as email hand and held device applications are now all available in Japanese. Japanese users will have the ability to decide which version of the application they will utilize, English or Japanese, depending on their local requirements.

Tokyo, Japan (January 31, 2008) Mr. Michael Rosenberg, TeleContinuity Executive Vice President and Mr. Takanobu Ito, Managing Director of Asia Pacific & Middle East were invited to Japan to speak about telecom disaster-recovery at the 12th Annual Earthquake Technology Expo/Natural Disaster Recovery Technology Expo in Yokohama, Japan. ECOSS and TeleContinuity also displayed its technology at the ITPRO2008 exposition in Tokyo in January, 2008.
TeleContinuity, Inc. Announce the Availability of Telephone Backup Services to Assure Voice Connectivity During a Disaster or Evacuation in Japan
Tokyo, Japan (January 15, 2008) -- TeleContinuity, Inc., provider of survivable backup telecommunications for business and government has joined with ECOSS, Inc., its Japanese partner, to announce the availability of its telecommunications backup service. With ECOSS’ TeleContinuity service, Japanese corporations and government agencies can be assured they will be able to maintain telephone service during a disaster, emergency or evacuation.TeleContinuity has maintained a commercial relationship with ECOSS since 2005 when ECOSS helped with fund raising and technical presentations.
