ROCKVILLE, MD (December 09, 2005)   - - TeleContinuity, Inc. announced today the availability of the TeleContinuity Service though Verizon Business on the GSA FTS2001 Contract. The modification titled PS248 - Voice Service Enhancement is effective as of today and Adds Back-up Voice Service for Disaster Recovery.

The TeleContinuity Survivable Voice Network will be branded by MCI as MCI Voice Continuity and will be available through the GSA with discount pricing based on contract size and commitment.

TeleContinuity and MCI Government Markets have several state and federal opportunities that are now available under the FTS 2001 contract.

MCI has introduced its Voice Continuity solution, offered in conjunction with TeleContinuity, Inc., to help federal and state government agencies meet Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) and Continuity of Government (COG) requirements. In the event of an equipment failure, natural disaster or building evacuation, the MCI Voice Continuity solution can reroute calls in minutes to maintain telephone service. Calls can be delivered to any location and to any device including landline phones, cellphones, computers and PDAs.

"Disaster Recovery planning is an integral part of every successful operations plan," said Jerry Edgerton, senior vice president of Verizon Business. "MCI works closely with government agencies to provide advice and guidance to help build an effective strategy that ensures their operations run continuously under all circumstances."
