Advanced Continuity to Offer TeleContinuity's Disaster-Proof, Survivable Backup Telecom Network to Customers of its Floodgate Notification Solution

Falls Church, VA (September 24, 2004) — Advanced Continuity, Inc. today announced that it will begin offering TeleContinuity's disaster-proof and survivable backup telecommunications network to customers of Advanced Continuity's innovative Floodgate™ Notification Solution.

“We are extremely pleased to partner with TeleContinuity to enhance our emergency notification solution and provide our customers with survivable telecommunications in the event of a disaster,” said Advanced Continuity Vice President JJ Nathan. “Using the TeleContinuity Network will guarantee that our clients will be able to receive all notifications regardless of network outages.”

Floodgate is one of the most advanced, efficient, and easy-to-use emergency notification products. Floodgate offers emergency and non-emergency notification delivery to mass quantities of people. Within minutes it will instantaneously and continuously communicate voice and text messages to all standard message delivery devices until the message is received by the intended party. It can be activated by making a single toll-free call or by web-based methods. Floodgate uses include, but are not limited to the military, banking, municipalities, schools, emergency response teams, hospitals and corporations.

As a result of the agreement between Advanced Continuity and TeleContinuity, Floodgate customers can opt to have the TeleContinuity disaster-proof and survivable telecom network as a backup network for the Floodgate service in the event of a network outage.

TeleContinuity is the world's first provider of a disaster-proof and survivable backup telecommunications network. Through TeleContinuity's proprietary intelligent communications routing and switching technology and strategically located network operation centers, users can easily and quickly switch control of their telephone service or Floodgate service to TeleContinuity’s disaster-proof and survivable backup telecommunications network. Once this is done, customers can receive their phone calls or Floodgate notifications at any location they like over whatever device they choose, whether it is a fixed landline phone, cell phone, PDA or e-mail.

TeleContinuity's solution makes this possible because it can sense open and available circuits on both the public switched telephone network and the Internet. It can, on-the-fly and without human intervention, create an operational network in real-time from an infinite variety of network routing options. Calls are moved back-and-forth between the Internet and public switched networks as many times and in as many combinations as necessary. Calls are then routed around a network outage to assure call completion from any location-to-any-location over any device.
