TeleContinuity, Inc. Appoints Larry Budnick Chief Systems Architect
June 1, 2004 Rockville, MD -- TeleContinuity, Inc. announced today the appointment of Larry Budnick as its Chief Systems Architect. "We are very excited about having Larry join us full time" said Raul Vera, Chief Technical Officer. "Larry has been involved with the Company on a part time basis for the last several months and he has been quite instrumental in bringing our technology from concept to operations. As we continue to expand our technology platform that address the complexities of VoIP based applications and traditional phone systems, we expect Larry to play a key roll going forward." One of the key elements that attracted me to TeleContinuity was the fact that no one in the marketplace has an approach, methodology or technology that comes close to the network and platform that is being deployed by TeleContinuity." said Larry Budnick. Larry brings more than 24 years of technology experience to TeleContinuity. Prior to joining TeleContinuity, Mr. Budnick was the Chief Engineering Officer and VP of Software Development for elcom, Inc. a leading provider of strategic hosted sourcing and e-Procurement services. Prior to that, he spent 16 years working in various divisions of AT&T and Bell Laboratories, including Wireless Network Systems, Public Telephone Switching, and Regional Sales and Technical Support. He has worked on such diverse projects as the first 5ESS Public telephone switch, ISDN, CDPD, GSM wireless switching, Wireless LANs, Wireless Sensor Networks, and highly available commercial web site development. After his time with AT&T, Mr. Budnick worked on high-speed Internet cable access for Continental Cablevision; and directed development of customized web-based news feed software for Individual Inc. His is also the author of several technical books about the Internet and the World Wide Web, which have been published in several languages world-wide. Mr. Budnick received a BS Computer and Systems Engineering: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1980 and received a MS in Computer Engineering from Boston University in 1991.
